Last workshop of the bilateral project “Semiotic Landscapes of Multilingual Border Regions”

 On September 28, 2023, the last workshop of the bilateral Serbian-German project “Semiotic Landscapes of Multilingual Border Regions” took place at the Institute for Balkan Studies, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade. The participants in the workshop were Annemarie Sorescu-Marinković, leader of the Serbian team, Svetlana Ćirković, Mirjana Mirić, from the Institute for Balkan Studies, and Željana Tunić, from the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg in Germany, who discussed their recent field research and settled the details of the closing conference of the project, which will take place in Jena in November.

The partners of the project are the Institute for Balkan Studies in Belgrade and Friedrich Schiller University in Jena. The project is financed by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia in cooperation with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), within the program of scientific and technological cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Germany, for the period 2022–2023.
