Launch of the international edited volume “New Cultural and Political Perspectives on Serbian-Romanian Relations”, held in the Royal Palace

The international edited volume “New Cultural and Political Perspectives in Serbian-Romanian Relations” was launched in the Royal Palace in Belgrade on 20th of March 2024. The event was officially opened by the Crown Prince Aleksandar, followed by the address of HE Mrs Silvia Davidoiu, Ambassador of Romania in Serbia.

Panel was moderated by editor of the volume  Aleksandra Djuric Milovanovic, PhD, senior research associate at the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA and speakers at the panel were: Prof. Slobodan G. Markovic, PhD, Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade and a member of the Crown Council, and Dragan Bakić, PhD, senior research fellow and Annemarie Sorescu Marinkovic, PhD, all from the Institute for Balkan Studies of SASA, and Ionuț Nistor, conf. uni. dr. from the Faculty of History, University Alexandru Ioan Cuza, Iași.

The launch of the volume which has been published by Peter Lang, series on South-East Europe History, initiated by the Balkan History Association in 2024 was held under the patronage of the HRH Crown Prince Alexander’s Foundation for Education and Culture. Co-editors Jovana Kolundzija, Mircea Măran and Otilia Hedeșan joined the launch as well as numerous interested audiences.
