Ognjen Krešić, PhD, research associate at the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, attended the fourth European Convention on Turcic, Ottoman and Turkish studies Turkologentag 2023, organized by the Society for Turcic, Ottoman and Turkish Studies (GTOT) between 21st and 23rd September 2023 in Vienna.
The title of his paper was: “The Relations between Christian Elites and Orthodox Monasticism in the 18th-Century Ottoman Balkans: The Case of Hilandar Monastery”.
