Narrative Theory and Construction Grammar: Analysis of Transcripts from the Serbian South Banat

Workshop „Narrative Theory and Construction Grammar: Analysis of Transcripts from the Serbian South Banat“ took place at the Slavic Institute of Humboldt University in Berlin, from 9th to 12th July 2015. Marija Mandić gave lecture „Collective and Personal Experience Narrative: Is there an Antagonism?“ on 10.12.2015, and Ivana Vučina Simović gave the lecture „Serbian language narration among children living in Mainland and Diaspora“ on 11.12.2105. at Humboldt University. The project is carried out within the Bilateral cooperation between the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA (Belgrade, Serbia) and the Slavic Institute of the Humboldt University (Berlin, Germany). The bilateral project is entitled “Towards a Social Construction Grammar: A New Approach to Narrative Methodology and Theory”; it is supported by the Ministry for Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD. The working language of the workshop was English.
