Communication in the “Country of Babel”: Language Ideological Debates on Contact Varieties

The international scientific conference Communication in the “Country of Babel”: Language Ideological Debates on Contact Varieties took place on November 11^th and 12^th 2015 in Bern, Switzerland, and was organized by the University of Bern. Annemarie Sorescu-Marinković, research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, took part in the conference with the paper entitled Erasure and fractal recursivity in the standardization of Vlach, co-authored with Monica Huțanu, assistant professor at the Belgrade University.

The program of the conference
