Northern Greece and Southeastern Europe during the Neolithic Period: An interaction zone

Between the 26th and the 29th of June 2014, in Thessaloniki, dr Nenad Tasić, project director of  " Society, Culture and Communications in the Balkans in proto- and early history”scientific project of the Institute for Balkan Studies of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, will organize an international scientific conference. The conference entitled Northern Greece and Southeastern Europe during the Neolithic Period: An interaction zone is organized in cooperation with the Archaeological museum of Thessaloniki (Αρχαιολογικο Μουσειο Θεσσαλονικης) and supported by Alexander von Humboldt Stifftung. The conference will be attended by more than 60 european and world archaeologists, amongst which several employees and associates of the Institute for Balkan studies SASA Miroslav Marić, m.a., dr Dragana Filipović and Kristina Penezić.
