HOMAGE A FELIX KANITZ
Dr Đorđe S. Kostić, senior research fellow and dr Vladimir P. Petrović, research fellow of the Institute for Balkan Studies of SASA, participated at the Conference: Felix Kanitz in the Central Balkans – 150 Years of Research in Niš, which commemorates jubilee of Felix Kanitz' research and work. The Conference was held on 30th and 31st May at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš. Dr Kostić presented the paper entitled: Desire for music and song. Felix Kanitz on Musical Life in the 19th and early 20th century Serbia and dr Petrovic presented the paper entitled: Felix Kanitz and the Beginnings of the Archaeological Work in Serbia. Dr Tatjana Cvetićanin, external project memeber, presented the following paper: Research of Roman arheological heritage by Felix Kanitz.
