Presentation for Academician Dimitrije Đorđević’s book "Essays in Balkan History"

In the Lecture Hall of the Kolarac Endowment, a presentation was held for Academician Dimitrije Đorđević’s book Essays in Balkan History, published by the Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Prof. Dr. Slobodan G. Marković, Dr. Dragan Bakić, and the Institute for Balkan Studies director, Dr. Vojislav G. Pavlović discussed the book.

At yesterday’s event, the speakers highlighted the significance of the new publication and Dimitrije Đorđević’s importance to Serbian, Yugoslav, and international historiography. They spoke about Đorđević’s distinctive approach to Balkan studies and the turbulent life journey that marked his scholarly career.
