Project of archaeological research at the "Ćetaće - Radujevac" locality

For the third consecutive year, the Institute for Balkan Studies of SASA, in cooperation with the Museum of Krajina in Negotin, is carrying out a project of archaeological research at the "Ćetaće - Radujevac" locality, near the confluence of the Timok and the Danube, on the Roman military border - Limes.

The project was led by Vladimir P. Petrović PhD, principal research fellow of the Institute for Balkan Studies of SASA and Gordan Janjić MA, museum advisor of the Museum of Krajina in Negotin. The team members were Aleksandar Tasić, an archaeologist; Ivan Ilić, an archeology student and Konstantin Janjić, an architecture student.

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia provided financing for the project, which was also co-financed by the Museum of Krajina in Negotin.
