Conference “Cultural Transfer Europe – Kingdom of Yugoslavia” at the Faculty of Political Sciences University of Belgrade

The third conference within the project “Cultural Transfer Europe-Serbia from the 19th to the 21st Century” was held on 30th of June 2023 at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade.

At the conference entitled “Cultural Transfer Europe – Kingdom of Yugoslavia”, following researchers of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA took part: Boris Milosavljević, PhD, principal research fellow, with the theme The Family of Dr Vladan Djordjević: Cultural Transfers in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Belgrade, Aleksandra Đurić Milovanović, PhD, senior research fellow, with the theme European Missionaries and Religious Cultural Transfer in the interwar Yugoslavia: the Case of Adventist Church, Dušan Fundić, PhD, research fellow, with the theme Protection of National Minorities as a Transfer of the Political Culture in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1918-1941) and Rastko Lompar, PhD candidate and research associate, with the theme Foreign influences on the development of right-wing sindicalism in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

The conference was organized by Aleksandra Đurić Milovanović, CTES project member and coordinator of the working group on the interwar together with Prof. Slobodan G. Marković from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade and project leader of CTES. This project is implemented with the support of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia within the programme IDEAS.
