About the project
The project aims to offer a double perspective on the topic of Romanian-Serbian relations in the 20 th century: both a historical and an anthropological one. Although there is a rich literature on this topic, there are many aspects that have been insufficiently researched or even completely neglected. Older works are sometimes limited in information or have conceptual gaps, so that they should be revisited at the level of the demands of current research. The researchers taking part in the joint research project will follow two main lines of research: 1) one which focuses on the political and diplomatic Romanian-Serbian relations in the 20 th century, and 2) a second one which centers around the problematic of the Serbian minority in Romania and the Romanian minority in Serbia in the same period.
