The international scholarly conference “Continuity, Contacts, and Conflicts in the Slavic-Byzantine World”

Milena Davidović, research associate at the Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, participated in the international scholarly conference “Continuity, Contacts, and Conflicts in the Slavic-Byzantine World”, held in Sofia. The conference was organized to commemorate the fortieth anniversary of the Centre for Slavo-Byzantine Studies “Prof. Ivan Dujčev” and was hosted by the Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” from 10 to 12 June 2026.

On the second day of the conference, Milena Davidović presented a paper entitled “Old Serbian Books as Custodians of Collective Memory of Social Practices Developed in the Ottoman Balkans”.
