Dr. Dragan Bakić at the conference "Peripheria: Cultural Life, Society and Historical Processes on the Margin"

Dr. Dragan Bakić, associate research professor of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, took part at the conference entitled Peripheria: Cultural Life, Society and Historical Processes on the Margin, held from 22 to 24 May 2026 in the town of Valjevo and jointly organized by the Institute for Recent History, the Inter-Municipal Historical Archives of Valjevo and the Society for Preservation of Cultural Heritage “Čelnik”.

On the second day of the conference, Dr. Bakić presented his work under the title “A Man of the Belgrade Life Orientation: Vladimir Velmar-Janković in Struggle for an Authentic National Culture”.
