New Edited Volume "Identifications of Orthodox Christians in Ottoman Southeastern Europe (c. 1450–c. 1750)"

The Institute for Balkan Studies SASA has published the edited volume Identifications of Orthodox Christians in Ottoman Southeastern Europe (c. 1450–c. 1750). The volume represents the main result of the project (Trans-)Formation of Identities: Orthodox Christians in the Ottoman Balkans (c. 1450–c. 1750), supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia within the PROMIS 2023 program. The editor of the volume is Dr. Marija Vasiljević, Research Associate at the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, while contributions by Dr. Valentina Živković, Principal Research Fellow, as well as Dr. Ognjen Krešić and Dr. Milena Davidović, Research Associates of the Institute, are also included. The volume explores the complex processes identifications among Orthodox Christian communities in Southeastern Europe under Ottoman rule.
