Edited volume dedicated to academician Nikola Tasić
The Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, has published a collection of papers Ars Praehistorica: Commemorating Nikola Tasić's Legacy In Balkan Antiquity, edited by Vladimir P. Petrović, principal research fellow. The collection is dedicated to academician Nikola Tasić — a prominent Serbian archaeologist, full member of SASA and former director of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA.
The papers collected in this volume cover a wide chronological range, from the Paleolithic, through the Neolithic and Bronze Ages, to late antiquity and the Middle Ages, which reflects the exceptional breadth of Nikola Tasić's scientific interests and research work.
The authors of the contributions are distinguished experts from Serbia and other European countries, many of whom were his collaborators, students and friends, and they contributed their works to this edition with special dedication.
The collection was printed entirely in English and French and published with the aid of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia.
