The Institute of Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts hosted Professor Luciano Monzali from the Aldo Moro University of Bari

At the library of the Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA), on Monday, December 15, a talk was organized with Professor Luciano Monzali from the Aldo Moro University of Bari on the topic “The History of Italian Diplomacy from the First Republic to Helsinki.” Professor Monzali is one of the leading Italian experts in the field of the history of international relations, and the discussion was based in particular on his recently published monographs (La diplomazia italiana dal Risorgimento alla Prima Repubblica; Italia e Iran 1857–2015: diplomazia, politica ed economia; Italia–Helsinki 50: dall’atto finale di Helsinki del 1975 all’OSCE di oggi). The discussion with Professor Monzali was moderated by the director of the Institute, Vojislav G. Pavlović.
