International Workshop - Religion and Migration in Eastern Orthodox World

Dr. Aleksandra Djurić Milovanović, research associate of the Institute for Balkan Studies SASA, took part in the organization of the international workshop “Religion and Migration in Eastern Orthodox World” on 7–8 June in Belgarde. The organizor of the workshop was the Aston University from Birmingham, with the support of the British Academy. Dr. Djurić Milovanović presented co-authored paper together with Dr. Marta Stojić Mitrović (Institute of Ethnography SASA) entitled: The Changing Dynamics of Migrant’s Support in Serbia: The Work of Faith-Based Organizations. This workshop gathered leading migration and religious studies scholars from Europe and the United States.
